2. The information we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Identity & contact details — name, email address, phone number, location and country.
- Professional information — your CV, grade, specialty, qualifications, registration details (e.g. GMC/AHPRA), references, work history and right-to-work/visa status.
- Preferences — the roles, locations, salary and start dates you're interested in, and any notes you share with us.
- Technical data — basic information your browser sends when you use the site (e.g. IP address and pages viewed) where applicable.
You provide most of this directly — for example, when you upload your CV, complete a form, or speak with us. Some professional details may come from publicly available professional registers.

4. Who we share it with
We only share your information where necessary to provide our service:
- Prospective employers — NHS trusts, health boards and hospital, GP and specialist employers in the UK, Australia and New Zealand — only after you have agreed to be put forward for a specific role.
- Service providers who help us operate (for example, secure email and form-handling tools), under appropriate data-protection terms.
- Regulators or authorities where we are legally required to do so.
We do not sell your personal data, and we never charge doctors for our service.
5. International transfers
Because we recruit across the UK, Australia and New Zealand, your information may be shared with employers or partners in those countries when relevant to a role you're pursuing. Where data is transferred outside the UK, we take steps to ensure it is protected by appropriate safeguards.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as needed to help with your career and to meet our legal obligations. If you are an active candidate we'll retain your details while we're working together and for a reasonable period afterwards in case suitable roles arise. You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time (see below).
7. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; ask us to correct or delete it; object to or restrict how we use it; withdraw consent at any time; and request a copy of your data in a portable format. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
8. Cookies
