For permanent NHS roles, the typical timeline from initial briefing to confirmed start date is 8–12 weeks. This covers sourcing, screening, compliance verification, Trust interview, and onboarding. Urgent requirements can sometimes be fast-tracked to 4–6 weeks depending on specialty and location.
